A native of Walhalla, SC, Mr. Lee was the son of the late Austin and Lela Orr Lee. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and later retired from the U.S. Postal Service. Mr. Lee was a life member of the Walhalla Volunteer Fire Department. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church where he also served as treasurer and a deacon.
Mr. Lee is survived by his sons: Sam Lee (Janie) of Walhalla and Jerry Lee (Donna) of Seneca; brothers: Jack Lee of Walhalla and Ray Lee of Walhalla; two grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Lee is preceded in death by brothers: Ervin Lee, Clarence Lee, Ralph Lee and Austin Lee; sisters: Viola Beatty, Ruth Edwards and Agnes Oliver; and grandson: Toney Wilson.
Burial at Oconee Memorial Park.
