Ralph Police, Sr. 83 of Shivley, WV was born February 24, 1935 at Taplin, WV a son of the late Patsy and Pearl Police of Ferrellsburg, WV. He departed his life on Friday, March 30, 2018 at his home.
Ralph was a retired coal miner, proud member of the UMWA, and a member of the Crawley Creek Church of God. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Becky Police, daughter Patricia Lovejoy, and brother Raymond Police.
Survivors include his sister Ruth Maynard, brother Frank Police, daughter Sherry Police, sons; Ralph (Rhonda) Police, Jr. and Tony (Amy) Police, granddaughters; Jaime (Mickey) Webb, Amber (Harrison) Browning, Erica (Nick) Keck, Zacaria Police, and Kyrstin Carter, grandsons; Steven (Belinda) Police and Jason Lovejoy, special granddaughter Caitlin Elkins, great grandsons; Cade and Chase Elkins and Andrew Browning, niece Betty Lou Adkins, and nephew Rocky Adkins.
Services will be 1:00 PM Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Crawley Creek Church of God with Rev. Vivie Marcum officiating. Burial will follow in the John & Violet Dingess Family Cemetery at Shivley.
