MARTIN HANNERS
(1907-1989)

Services for Martin Hanners, 81, of 7418 Doghollow Rod, St. Louisville, will be at 10 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Henderson, VanAtta and Johnston Funeral Home, with the Rev. Robert Knox officiating. Burial will be in Newark Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Hanners died Monday afternoon in Newark Healthcare Centre. He was born Oct. 4, 1907, in South Portsmouth, Ky., to the late William and Naomi (McCallister) Hanners.

He was retired from the Holophane Co.

His wife, Hazel D. Hanners, died July 11, 1982. Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Kenneth H. (Mary) Oakleaf of Granville; one son, George Hanners of St. Louisville; three brothers, Ray Hanners and Alva Hanners, both of Washington Court House, Ohio, and Russell Hanners of Florida; and two sisters, Dorothy Gillum and Margaret Hanners, both of Washington Court House. One brother, one grandchild, one son and one daughter are deceased.
