David Maxie age 47, of Sandy Hook, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky.
Mr. Maxie was born September 07, 1970 at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky a son of Virgil and Rosa Maggard Maxie of Sandy Hook, Kentucky.
David was a Medical Transportation Driver. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He never met a stranger, he took right up with anyone. All that knew him knew what a character he was.
He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Elizabeth "Lizzy" and Jackson Maxie, and one cousin Mark Maxie.
In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Angela Maxie, two daughters: Brianna Michelle Maxie, Elizabeth Grace Maxie, two brothers: Greg Maxie, Darrell Salyers, three sisters: Shannon McLaughlin, Debbie Porter, Melissa Maxie, all of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, along with a host of family and friends that will sadly mourn his passing.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 23, 2018 at Waddell & Whitt funeral home with Brother Gary Sparks officiating. Burial will follow in the Maxie family cemetery in Isonville, Kentucky.
Friends may visit after 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 22, 2018 at Waddell & Whitt funeral home.
Serving as pallbearers will be: Chester Caskey, Clifford Caskey, Daniel Keeton, Chris Porter, Shawn Price, Jim Skaggs.
