Phyllis Rizzo passed away at home Nov. 5, 2018. She was 96.
Visitation will be at the Bailey Funeral Home, Mendham, N.J., on Saturday, Nov. 10, from 9 to 11 a.m., with a memorial service at 11 a.m., in the funeral home. Entombment to follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, 225 Ridgedale Ave., East Hanover, N.J.
Phyllis was born in Newark, N.J., to the late Andrew and Rose Giameo. She was a resident of Florham Park, N.J., before moving to Mendham 30 years ago.
Her family will remember her as a warm and loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to all.
Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Phillip N. Rizzo, in 2014; her twin sister, Noreen Naples, and brother, Peligrino Giameo.
She is survived by her son, Nicholas Rizzo and his wife, Lori, of Florida; two daughters, Maria Mortellito and her husband, Ralph, of Mendham Twp., and Andrea Rizzo of Warren, N.J.; her sister, Josephine Galante of Brick, N.J.; seven grandchildren, and 14 great-grandchildren.
