Augustine (Tina) Loebl, 89, of Roanoke, passed away, Tuesday, May 29, 2007. Tina was born in Poland and grew up in Honduras, Central America. She came to Roanoke in 1946 after her marriage to Walter Stuart Loebl of Roanoke. From her first years in Roanoke she was very active in many events in the Jewish community. Tina was always generous with her time and giving of herself to her family and friends in the community. She was an active member of Temple Emanuel and former president of the Temple Emanuel Sisterhood. She worked all her life helping to plan social events and worked several years in the floral business at Wertz Florist of Roanoke. Surviving are two sons and daughters-in-law, Richard and Lisa Loebl, of New York and Fred and Amy Loebl, of Berkeley, California; four grandchildren, Naomi, Rachel, Robert and Stuart. Also surviving are a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Temple Emanuel 10:30 a.m. Friday with Rabbi Kathy Cohen officiating. Interment will follow in Beth Israel Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to Temple Emanuel, 1163 Persinger Road S.W., Roanoke, Virginia 24015. The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the service at Temple Emanuel
