Beulah Vannarsdall, age 87, of Owenton, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at her residence.
Born April 29, 1931, in Bath County,Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Old Ruth Ellis and the widow of Frank Vannarsdall. Beulah was preceded in death by her twin sister, Poppy and siblings, Orville, Tib, Claude, Lyle Ruth, Herman Jr., and Lillian as well as her grandson Stephen. She was a devoted member of her church, Beechwood Assembly of God; a volunteer at the Owen County Clothing Center and was an avid UK fan. She will be remembered by her family as an excellent cook.
She is survived by her children, Eugene "Bugs" Vannarsdall and Jaynie Vannarsdall; her grandson Ryan (Kaylan) Vannarsdall; great grandson, Bryce; her sister, Adda Florence McNulty and several nieces and nephews.
McDonald & New Funeral Homes are in charge of arrangements. Family will receive friends at the Main Street location on Friday, March 15, 2019 from 5-8pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 11am at Beechwood Assembly of God with Burial in Owenton Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Beechwood Assembly of God.
