Antoine LaBarre Sr. is the son of Joseph LaBarre (also called Genest dit LaBarre) and his wife, Catherine Miette (also spelled Myette). He was baptised on 29 OCT 1828 at Notre Dame du Rosaire Catholic Church in St. Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada. - source: Church Records

He moved to Little Canada, Ramsey County, Minnesota and is in the 1849 state census for that year.

Antoine LaBarre died OCT 1896. No date or location was given in his obituary, but it states that his funeral was 14 OCT 1896 in New Canada, Ramsey County, Minnesota at St. John's Catholic Church. This is why I believe he is buried in the church cemetery.
