The will was written and witnessed on the 11 August 1838 and was probated on the 7 July 1845 in Franklin County, Georgia. The children named are: sons Joseph and William Jackson; daughters Sarah Dobbs, Rebecca McFarland, Rhoda Thomas, and Mary Chandler.
