Harmon Suttles, 84, of Grayson, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, September 29, 2019 at Kingsbrook Life Care Center in Ashland.
He was born March 8, 1935, a son of the late Ethel Barnhill Suttles and Frank Suttles, Sr; he was also preceded by his stepmother Elsie Suttles.
Harmon was a farmer all his life, a 60-year member of Iron Hill Church of Christ, former Board member of Farm Bureau and Director of Agricultural Stabilization Conservation.
He was preceded in death by his wife Ruby Newman Suttles in 2014.
He is survived by two daughters, Shirley (Doug) Carroll and Patty (Kevin) Estep, both of Grayson; four sisters, Lois (Glen) Newland of Grayson, Nancy (Carl) Bentley of Lexington, Ky., Betty (Paul) Tallas of Texas and Norma Mullins of Grayson; two brothers, Frank (Sharon) Suttles, Jr. and Herbert (Becky) Suttles of Grayson; four grandchildren, Crystal Shepherd of Ore., Whitney Carroll of Grayson, Holly Estep of Phoenix, Ariz., and Dawn Mullins of W.Va.; one great-grandson, Braxton Ison of Grayson.
Services will be conducted Saturday 1 p.m. at Malone Funeral Home with Bro. Tom Swartzwelder, officiating. Burial will be in the Suttles Family Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 until 9 p.m. Friday, and after 9 a.m. Saturday.
