Harvey James "Nub" Sessions Jr, 40 of Oskaloosa, passed away on June 13th at a Lehigh Acres, Florida, hospital. He was vacationing in Florida when he suffered a heart attack. Mr. Sessions owned Nub's Plumbing Company at Oskaloosa for 28 years. He was a Navy veteran.

Mr. Session was born November 10, 1938, In Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Harvey James Sessions Sr. and Elsie Adams Sessions. He lived in Topeka from the time he was 9 years old until he was 18 and graduated from Seaman High School in Topeka. Before moving to Oskaloosa in 1972, he lived in Kansas City, Kansas. Mr. Sessions was secretary of the Lions Club in Oskaloosa, was a former coach of girls' softball in the WYCO League in Kansas City, Kansas, and was a former member of Local No. 8 of the Plumbers Union in Kansas City.

Mr. Sessions was married to Linda M. Green in December of 1950. Besides his wife, he was survived by two daughters, Carole Lansangan and Melanie Sessions; two sons, Harvey James "Buddy" Sessions III of Oskaloosa and Steven Sessions of Kansas City; his stepmother, Susie Sessions, of Overland Park; two sisters, Jo Ann Reber of Liberty, Missouri, and Judy Schmidt in Florida; and two grandsons.

Funeral services were held on Friday, June 17th, at the George F. Porter and Sons Funeral Home in Kansas City, Kansas. Burial in Highland Park Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas. Memorial contributions were suggested be made to the Oskaloosa Lions Club.
