Mrs. Nellie Preston Daniel, 70, died Sunday, March 14, (1982) in
Paintsville Hospital.
Mrs. Daniel was born October 3, 1911, in Johnson County,
(Kentucky), the daughter of Willie L. and Rose Witten Preston.
She was a resident of Thelma, (Kentucky) and a member of the Bob's
Branch Primitive Baptist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Shirley Daniel, who she married
September 23, 1935, in Paintsville; two brothers, Donis and Ochel
Preston, both of Thelma; and two sisters, Jane Ward, River and Ruth
Gerisch, Mansfield, Ohio.
Funeral servives were held Wednesday, March 17, in Concord United
Baptist Church with B.C. Ferguson and Charles Price officiating.
Burial was in Preston Cemetery, Thelma, with Preston Funeral Home
in charge of the arrangements.
