Josephine Strange Schibilia July 19, 2007

Josephine Strange Schibilia, 85, of Syracuse, passed away Thursday at her home. Mrs. Schibilia retired from Prestolite and was a communicant of Blessed Sacrament Church. She was a member of the Moose Club and a member of the St. Peter' s , Holy Trinity and Our Lady of Pompei Senior Citizens Clubs. Josephine was also a member of the Daughters of Columbus.

She was predeceased by her husband, Anthony, in 1993.

Josephine is survived by her daughters, Elaine (Louis) Sacco of Liverpool and Charlene Paone (fiance, Anthony Colella) of Baldwinsville; grandchildren, Paul (Vicki) Sacco, Anthony Sacco, Cindy Sacco (fiance, Jamie Seymour) and Lauren and Marc Paone; great-grandchildren, Paul, Michael and Nicholas Sacco; sisters and brothers, Pearl Bertetto of PA, Amelia Albino, Dominick Strange and Frank (Carm) Strange, all of Syracuse; brother-in-law, Natale Schibilia of Syracuse; sister-in-law, Frances (Vito) Nardozza of Florida; several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. at Farone & Son Funeral Home, 1500 Park Street.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home and 10 a.m. in Blessed Sacrament Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.
