Mrs. Margaret Miller age 74 of Scalf, Kentucky departed this life on Monday, April 27, 2020 in the Barbourville Health & Rehabilitation Center. She was the widow of Earl Lee Miller and the daughter of the late Daw & Pearlie Brown, born to them in Knox County on September 4, 1945.

Margaret was of the holiness faith and was a member of the Free Spirit House of Prayer on Brown’s Branch. She enjoyed quilting, going to church and being with all her family, friends and grandbabies.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband and five brothers, Garret Brown, Gene Brown, Obie Brown, Evie Brown and Johnny Brown and four sisters, Rosie Brown, Viola Brown, Evelyn Brown and Argie Brown.

Left behind to mourn her passing, four daughters, Evelyn Martin and husband Donald of Barbourville, Norma Jean Honeycutt and husband Alfred of Flat Lick, Mary E. Smith and husband Darrell of London and Denise Flack and husband Scott of Jefferson, Kentucky, two sons, Robert “Bo” Crawford of Flat Lick and Junior Miller and wife Peggy of Mt. Sterling, Kentucky, four brothers, Daw Brown, Jr., Virgil Brown and wife Janice, Earnest Brown and wife Susie and Roger Brown, one sister, Martha Grubb, ten grandchildren, Dean Crawford and wife Brooke, Argie Gray and husband Aaron, Cody Honeycutt and wife Amber, Starliee Crawford Senters, Samantha Gray and husband Tyler, Shawn Brown and wife Misty, Stehanie Witt and husband Chris, Nicholas Crawford and wife Kayla, Brandon Crawford and wife Felicia and Troy Brown. She also leaves behind twenty-two great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Funeral services for Mrs. Margaret Miller will be private with Rev. Stoney Brown and Rev. Steve Brown officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Brown’s Branch Cemetery with pallbearers being Dan Crawford, Jr., Cody Honeycutt, Tyler Gray, Aaron Gray, Darrell Smith and Brayden Merida. Cobb-Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
