"Mildred Preiner slipped away peacefully on May 3, 2017.

Mildred was born in St. Paul, MN on October 4, 1917 the child of Anthony and Rose Preiner. The family moved to Duluth when Mildred was a child.

Mildred enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved music, dancing, and chocolate. She greatly looked forward to, and remembered fondly, her annual vacations with friends, fishing in Hayward.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Gerald and Clarence; and sisters, Eleanor Klang and Irene Walsh.

She is survived by her brother, Eugene “Butch” Preiner; and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her greatly.

The family wants to thank the staff on Elm at Chris Jensen for their friendship to and good care of “Millie” these last precious months.
VISITATION: Thursday, May 11, 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Memorial Mass in St. John’s Catholic Church, 4230 St. John’s Avenue, Duluth, MN."
