Edna Hall, 75, Rites Sunday at West Van Lear
Mrs. Edna Hall, 75, died at 6:00 p.m. Friday May 5, at her home at West Van Lear after an extended illness. The daughter of the late Harve and Laura Huff Sherman, she was born in this county April 21, 1886, and had made her home at West Van Lear for the past thirty-nine years. She was a member of the West Van Lear Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Hall. Surviving are a son, James William Hall, Maytown, and a brother, Herndon Sherman, Weeksbury. Funeral Services were conducted at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, May 7, from the West Van Lear Church of Christ with Rev. S. C. Honeycutt as officiating minister. Burial was in the Cumbo Cemetery at West Van Lear. Paintsville Herald Wednesday May 10, 1961
