Anthony Lester Perrin, March 16, 1924 - June 6, 2010. Tony Perrin was born in New York, but lived much of his life in Lake Forest, IL. He attended St. Bernard's School in New York, Groton in Massachusetts, and Yale University. During World War II he earned a Silver Star for "aggressive leadership and courageous actions" while fighting in Germany. His professional career included work for Ciba Geigy, Yale University, and as a freelance actor and model. He loved racquet sports, and rode his bicycle around Lake Forest up to his death. He is survived by his sister, Suzanne Kloman; his daughter, Cynthia Perrin Schneider; his son, Lee Perrin; his daughter-in-law, Melissa Perrin; and his grandchildren, Tommie Schneider, Sam Schneider, Christopher Perrin and Louisa Perrin. A Memorial Service will be held at the Church of the Holy Spirit, 400 E. Westminster Rd., Lake Forest, IL, at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2010. Info.
