She was a lifelong resident of Springfield. She married Gale B. Cox Sr. in 1940 and he died in 1976. She married Norris S. Ramsey in 1976. Preceding her in death were her parents and one brother, Henry Irvin Starks Jr.
Mrs. Ramsey was a member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception.
Surviving are her husband, Norris S.; three daughters, Mrs. Richard (Sue) Eggleston, Mrs. Norman (Barbara) Nation, Mrs. Robert (Patricia) Morgan, all of Springfield; two sons, Gale "Jim" Cox of Springfield and Thomas Cox of Lincoln; 12 grandchildren; one aunt; and several nieces and nephews.
Services at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, with the Rev. John Ossola officiating. Burial in Calvary Cemetery.
