Mrs. Velma G. Starts, 74, of Springfield, died Sunday at St. Johns Hospital. She was born in Springfield the daughter of Ira and Elizabeth Berry Hickman. Her husband, Henry I. preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Gale (Dorothy L.) Cox Sr. of Springfield; five grandchildren.
Services at Staab Funeral Home. Burial in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
