Winfield Baxter, their only child, b. Templeton, May 30, 1850, was educated at Boston
Latin school, Amherst College, and Dartmouth College Medical School, and is an Assistant Superintendent and physician of the State Hospital for the Insane at Danvers, Mass.

Alonzo, b. Union, N. Y., June 4, 1820, m. April 2G, 1845, Harriet Jewett, dau. of Dr. Chas. Jewett, of Rindge, lived a few years in Goshen, Ind., in Templeton, Mass., from 1849 to 1861, since which time their home has been in Boston.

Mr. Bancroft, has been much engaged in mechanical pursuits, but was for several years an officer of the customs in Boston, and a representative in the Mass, legislature in 1877 and 1878.
