George A., born in 1853;
Elizabeth C., born in 1855;
Sally A., born in 1858;
Oscar E., born in 1861;
Mary R., born in 1863;
their eldest son, William B., born in 1844, enlisted in the 35th I. V. I., in 1862, and died in hospital at Keokuk, in 1863.
Mrs. Elizabeth Townsley's parents, John and Catherine Stephenson, were early settlers of Greene Co., Ohio; her father died in May, 1846; her mother died in 1850.
