Wooster - Dorothy Taylor, 88, of Wooster passed away on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at her home.

She was born February 26, 1933 in Walnut Creek the daughter of Elmer and Orpha Gerber. She married Theodore Taylor on December 21, 1952. He survives.

Dorothy was a graduate of Walnut Creek High School and had worked in food service for Triway Local Schools for 20 years retiring in 1994. She was a member of the Moreland United Methodist church.

She enjoyed quilting, cooking and watching the Cleveland Indians, but her passion was her family especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Surviving in addition to her husband is her son Ronald (Tamala) Taylor of Wooster; a son-in-law Mark Graziani of Virginia; grandchildren Heather (Larry) Wood, David (Heather Goodman) Taylor, Andrew Graziani (Eric), Anthony Graziani, Scott (Liz) Taylor and Joshua Taylor; great-grandchildren Talon, Taylor, Treyce, Olivia, Lucas, Riley and Theodore.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, daughters Deborah Graziani and Brenda Weaver Taylor, a brother Myron (Nina) Gerber and a sister Katherine (Emo) Kauffman.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 from 6-8:00 p.m. at the McIntire, Bradham & Sleek Funeral Home, 216 E. Larwill St., Wooster.

Private family graveside services will be held at the Wooster Cemetery.
