Myrtle "Louise" Fairbank, 87, passed away peacefully in her home in Joplin on May 24th, 2021.
Louise was born on December 11th, 1933 to Elizabeth Abbott and Harry Everitt in Webb City, Missouri.
She married Bob Stapleton and had three children, Robert, Ronald, and Richard. She was later widowed and married David Fairbank.
Louise was a dedicated long-term employee and retired from Safeway in Carthage. She was a Matron of the Eastern Stars- Carthage chapter. She was a doting grandmother with a love for dancing, reading, music, and crossword puzzles.
Louise is survived by: her beloved cat Baby Doll; son Bob Stapleton; granddaughters Carla Monroe, Brandi Stapleton, Amanda Bibbs, Tabatha Groomes, and Drew Strand; many loving great-grandchildren; sister Carol Arrowood; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: spouse Bob Stapleton and later David Fairbank; sons Ron Stapleton and Dickey Stapleton; sisters Juanita Rector, Maxine Hunnell, Donna Riddle, and brother Albert Everitt.
Memorial graveside service will be held at the outdoor gazebo at Mount Hope Cemetary in Webb City on Friday, July 2nd 2021 at 11 a.m.
