Her first name could also be spelled Aznieve, Azneve, or Azniv. Aznive married Nazareth Arzoumanian in Philadelphia in 1911, an Armenian also from Yozgat. She immigrated to the United States with her family in 1908 at age 15. They had three sons, an eldest son and twins. The eldest and one of the twins both died young in 1915, the only surviving child was named Albert. Aznive lived at 5021 Baltimore Avenue in Philadelphia and died of nephritis contributed to by a lung edema at age 25. In the years after her death Nazareth and Albert moved to Los Angeles, California.
