Nicholas Zidiack, 78, of 3150 Lehigh St., Whitehall Township, died Sunday in Allentown Hospital. He was the husband of Ethel M. (Stumpp) Zidiack. They were married 40 years in October.
Zidiack was a silk weaver for the former Frank and Stessel Textile Co., Cementon, for 28 years before retiring in 1974.
Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Katherine (Stenach) Zidiack.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Coplay.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Survivors: Wife; daughter, Mrs. Patricia A. Kern of Treichlers; brother Joseph of Palmerton, and sisters, Olga, wife of Robert Leopold of Las Vegas, Nev., and Mrs. Helen Barrett of Allentown.
