"Joseph Zidiack, 80, of 3714 Little Gap Road, Palmerton, died Tuesday, Dec. 10, in the home of his nephew, Kevin N. Barrett of Northampton.

Zidiack worked in the ingot mold foundry of Bethlehem Steel Corp.

Born in Northampton, he was a son of the late Nicholas and Catherine (Steneck) Zidiack.

An Army veteran, he served in Pearl Harbor and received the Bronze Star.

Survivor: Sister, Mrs. Helen Barrett of Allentown; nieces and nephews.

Services: 1 p.m. Thursday, Campton Funeral Home, 525 Delaware Ave., Palmerton. Call noon to 1 p.m. Thursday."
