Mary Hollin Shorter, age 75, of Corbin, Kentucky, passed away on Sunday January 2, 2022, at Baptist Health in Corbin. She was born in Clay County, a daughter to the late Charlie Hollin and Verna Jackson Hollin.

Mary and was a member of Living Waters Pentecostal Church in Gray.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Finley Shorter, daughters, Verna Barton and Christy Boggs, brothers, Will and Jackie Hollin, sisters, Virgie Bowling, Mossie Hollin, Edna Hollin, Nannie Brafford, Sarah Gray, Georgia Humfleet, America Jones, Elizabeth Owens, and Delora Mills, and by a great grandson, Landon Eads.

Mary is survived by her children, Tony Garrison, April Garrison, and Larkin Sullivan, son in law, Greg Roberts, grandchildren, Nathan Tanner, David Boggs, Heather Boggs, Nicole Boggs, Justin Garrison, Jenny Garrison, and Monica Garrison, great grandchildren, Camden, Braxton, Colton, Haviny, Jaycee, Gabbie, Payton, and Abby, brother, Larkin Hollin, sisters, Leona McCreary, twin sister Martha Shorter, Flossie Hinkle, Alice Jones, and Axie Scott, and by numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends who all loved her dearly.

Visitation will be from 6-9pm on Thursday January 6, 2022, at the Vankirk-Grisell Funeral Home. Mary's funeral will be held at 12noon on Friday January 7th at Living Waters Pentecostal Church in Gray, KY.

Burial will follow in the Hollin Cemetery in Gray, Kentucky.
