Norma Chesnutt, 82, of Beaumont, Texas, passed away on October 24, 2022, in Beaumont, Texas.
Funeral services will be at Claybar Kelley-Watkins Funeral Home in Beaumont, Texas.
Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont, Texas.
Born in Beaumont, Texas, on January 10, 1940, she was the daughter of Nelson Nicholas and Clara Sepulvedo Nicholas.
Norma was a longtime member of Our Lady of the Assumption Catholic Church in Beaumont, Texas, where you could find her every Sunday. In her free time, she loved visiting with friends and working with her plants in her garden.
She was married to Bobby Thomas Chesnutt Sr. on December 22nd, 1956. This union was blessed with two children.
Bobby preceded her in death on December 1, 1990.
Norma was a light in the lives of all those who knew her, and will be dearly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Thomas Chesnutt Sr.; parents Nelson Nicholas and Clara Sepulvedo Nicholas; brother Joseph Carl Nicholas; sister-in-law Merlynn Nicholas, and one great-grandson.
She is survived by her sisters Nelwyn Lakey of Galveston and Glenda Trahan and husband Al of Beaumont, sons Bobby Chesnutt Jr. and wife Eileen of Beaumont, and Mark Chesnutt and wife Tracie of Tennessee. Her grandchildren, Jeremy Chesnutt and wife Amanda of Lumberton,Justin Chesnutt of Lumberton, Waylon Chesnutt of Buna, Casey Chesnutt and wife Claire of Lumberton, Cameron Chesnutt and wife Holly of Bridge City, Ashley Martinez and husband Matthew of Houston; and nine great-grandchildren.
