David Thomas Nichols, Sr. 83, of Goode, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, August 30, 2017, at his residence.
He was born on May 6, 1934, in Bedford, VA, son of the late Early Nichols and Minnie Jenkins Nichols.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two children, Bonnie Hull and David "Tommy" Nichols, Jr., and five siblings, George, Frances, Agnes, Gertrude and Hubert and Eleanor Padgett.
David loved spending time in his garden working with his flowers and veggies. He enjoyed fellowship with his family and friends. He was a member of Norwood Baptist Church in Forest, Bedford Moose Lodge #1897 and retired from Banker Steel.
