Mrs. Jones was the oldest member of Grace Memorial United Methodist Church (1932) and was a graduate of Courtland High School. After their marriage, Elna and Bill made their home in Sedley and raised their four children with lots of love and care.
Left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Venita J. Hewitt (John) of Sedley and Lou Anne Davis (Jeff) of Courtland, one son, William E. "Billy" Jones, Jr of Sedley, a son-in-law, Buddy Kea of Ivor, five grandchildren, Trey Kea (Tara), Jay Hewitt (Danielle), Dan Kea (Brad), Elizabeth McCoy (Adam) and Sonny Davis, four great grandchildren, Peyton Kea, Sophia Hewitt, Forrest Kea and Jackson Railey.
A memorial service will be held at 2 PM Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Wright Funeral Home, Franklin with the Rev. Rita Kanten officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Grace Memorial United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 73, Sedley, VA 23878. www.wrightfuneralhome.org
