MCMAHAN, Lynn Marie – of Clio, age 79, died Tuesday, July 4, 2023 at her residence under hospice care. A Memorial Service will be held at 12 :00 PM Tuesday, August 8, 2023 at Mt. Morris Community Church. The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, August 8, 2023 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at the church. Memorial contributions can be made to the family for future designation.
Lynn was born September 17, 1943 in Flint, Michigan to the late Bernard and Erma (Findlay) McMahan. She grew up in Clio, Michigan and graduated from Mt. Morris High School with the class of 1961. Lynn then went on to attend Nyack College in New York and St. Paul Bible College, before receiving her RN degree from Hurley School of Nursing. She retired from McLaren Hospital in 1998. Lynn also did mission work in Laredo, Texas for many years. She was a member of the Mt. Morris Community Church and often taught the Women's Bible Study and the Adult Sunday School Classes at the church. Lynn loved Disney World and went to their parks several times over the years. She liked gardening, doing crafts, sewing, and quilting. Lynn loved spending time with her family and treated her nieces and nephews like her own children.
Surviving are: Sister in law, Marlene McMahan; Nieces and Nephews, Janet Wood, Terry Derus, Tim (Laura) McMahan, Kelly (Brian) Currie, Karol (Andy) Marchig, Kathy (Everette) Parker, Randy (Diane) McMahan, Vicky Siegrist, Tracy McMahan, Rick (Kelly) McMahan; several great nieces and nephews; great-great nieces, nephews; Special Cousins, Sandy Moore, Susan Dancer; Lifelong Friend, Marlene Gorton; and many special Bible Study friends.
