Of Stillwater, MN Died after struggling with lung cancer Bette was born and raised in Denver, CO and attended the University of Colorado Boulder, earning her bachelor's degree. While at Kansas State University, earning a master's degree Bette met Robert (Bob) Berube (Boston, MA); they married in 1965. Bette worked as a hospital dietician until the family grew in 1967 and again in 1968. From Kansas, the family moved to Louisiana, North Carolina and then to Stillwater, MN in 1977. Bette worked as a dietician, teacher, seamstress, and tailor. Her favorite hobbies were gardening and sewing. Preceded death by her husband of 52 years, Robert; siblings, Virginia Swigert and John L Swigert, Jr. Survived by her children, Ben and Becky; grandchildren, Alea, Ethan, Erika, and Ella. Service Tuesday, December 13, 11:00 A.M. at ST. MICHAEL'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 611 3rd St S., Stillwater, MN. Visitation Monday December 12, 4:00-7:00 P.M. at BRADSHAW CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTER, 2800 Curve Crest Blvd, Stillwater and also one hour prior to the Mass at the church. 651-439-5511
