Melissa was born February 26, 1967, in Louisville, daughter of the late Oris and Gladys Foley Rexroat. She had a beautiful soul and was a most special lady who touched the lives of everyone who knew her. Melissa was a family historian and genealogist and was a large contributor to the popular FindaGrave.com website. She loved flowers and butterflies and was a collector of miniature figurines. Melissa was filled with the Holy Spirit and was A Warrior for Christ.
She is survived by her loving husband of 17 years, James; and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
Along with her parents, Melissa is preceded in death by her brother, Gary Gene Rexroat; her grandparents; and several uncles and aunts.
Funeral services are 1:00 p.m., CST, Thursday, November 2, 2023, at Bernard Funeral Home, with Pastor Jim Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
Visitation will be held after 12:00 noon, Thursday, until time of services.
Arrangements for Melissa Rexroat-Craigmiles have been entrusted to Bernard Funeral Home.
