Large Concourse of People Present at Interment.
The funeral of J. V. Goode who died suddenly at Abbeyille, La., sanitarium Thursday morning took place this morning at 10 o'clock from the family residence, 1422 Pennsylvania avenue. The service was conducted by Dr. Werlein of the First Methodist church.
The attendance was very large and a number of friends from all over the state were present to pay last respects to the decades, among them Hon. A.W. Terrell of Austin and Alex W. Terrell Jr., of Waxahachie.
The floral offerings were unusually large. The pall bearers were: M. H. Mills, David K. Keeler, J.D. Collett, Judge E. E. Meek, Captain B.B. Paddock, Georg Thompson and Robert G. Littlejohn.
The burial took place at the new cemetery and the procession was one largest seen in Fort Worth.
