Mrs. Jessie Boner, 74, of 404 W. St. Louis St., West Frankfort, died at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at her home.
She had been in failing health several years.
She was born in Blairsville, the daughter of Frank and Vina Snider Leach. She lived in West Frankfort 35 years. She was a member of the West Frankfort First Methodist Church, the Rebekah Lodge, Royal Neighbors, the Woodman Circle, RWI Club, H & W Club and the Friendly Aid Club.
She leaves a daughter, Mrs. Opal Watson of West Frankfort; step-children, Lindell Boner and Mrs. Gene Spani, both of West Frankfort, Louis Boner of Hillsboro and Mrs. Patty Kinson of Wood River; brothers, Harry Leach of Cambria and Fount Leach of Blairsville; five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Her husband Sherman died four years ago.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Reedy Funeral Home, West Frankfort. Burial will be in Blairsville Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
