Paintsville Funerl Home is in charge of arrangements for Moncie Davis, 96. Mrs. Davis was born February 12, 1894 in Johnson County, the daughter of Sherman and Shellie Williams Trimble. She was a member of the United Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Vint Davis, in 1973. Surviving are two sons, Clarence Davis of Oil Springs, and Wendaell Davis, of Columbus, Ohio; and three grandchildren, eight great- grandchildren and four great-great-grandchldren. Funeral services will be held today, Wednesday, August 22, at 11 a.m. in the United Baptist Church at Barnetts Creek, with Elders Phillip Caudill, Kenny Pelphrey and Wayne Blair officiating. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery at Oil Springs.
