Mary "Polly" Agnes McClanahan was a daughter of Robert McClenachan "McClanahan" Sr. and Sarah Breckenridge. Robert and Sarah immigrated from Ireland to Augusta County in the Virginia Colony. There are records that are not confirmed about Polly's birth place. DAR application has Polly born in Ireland in 1744.
