Born March 24, 1899, in Stark to James Bertrand and Ella Blood Hinman, she married Martin Leo Sniff in Cambridge. He died April 26, 1978. She also was preceded in death by one son, Jack, who was killed at Pearl Harbor in 1941, two brothers and two sisters.
Surviving are one son, Martin of Edelstein; two daughters, Charlotte Tucker of Chillicothe and Barbara Foster of Danville; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.
She attended Speer Congregational Church, where she served as pianist for many years.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Hammitt-Hott Funeral Home in Princeville. The Rev. Ron Dickinson will officiate. Visitation will be one hour before services at the funeral home. Burial will be in Lawn Ridge Cemetery in Lawn Ridge.
