Charlotte L. Tucker, 88, of 817 N. Third St. died at 8:57 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005, at Methodist Medical Center in Peoria. Born Nov. 17, 1916, in Princeville to Leo and Martha Himan Sniff, she married James F. Tucker on May 25, 1935, in Chillicothe. He survives. Also surviving are two sons, James Jr. and Jerry (and Lena), both of Chillicothe; three daughters, Janet (and Howard) Gerdes of Edwardsville, Julie (and Bob) Snyder of Mountain View, Calif., and Jeanne (and Bob) Reggio of Chillicothe; one sister, Barb Foster of Albuquerque, N.M.; 15 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers.
