THE PARIS NEWS, Mon., Mar. 24, 1997, p.5A: 'Hugo, OK - Vernon Kinslow, 76, of Fort Towson died Sunday, March 23, 1997, at St. Joseph's Hospital and Health Center in Paris. Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, March 25, at Fort Towson Cemetery Chapel with the Rev. Bennie Hammon. Prater-Lampton-Mills and Coffey Funeral Home has charge of arrangements. He was a retired heavy equipment operator and served in the Army during World War II. Surviving are his wife, Uvelle Hughes Kinslow; two sons, Jimmy Vaughn Kinslow of Fort Towson and Terry Lyn Kinslow of Soper; a daughter, Vicky Jean Trapp of Sawyer; a brother, Robert Lee Kinslow of Fort Towson; two sisters, Estilline Schuleter of Sweetwater, Texas and Myrtle Harrington of DAllas; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.'
