Son of the late Lon & Resa Dawson Booth, he was born in Johnson Co., KY. He died at his residence in West Van Lear. Preceding him in death was his wife, Grace Elsa Adkins Booth, in February 2005. Surviving are a son; a daughter; three brothers; and three grandchildren.

He was the son of Lon and Bess (Nee Dawson) Booth. He married Grace Elsa Adkins. Parents and wife preceded him in death.

He is survived by one son, of Memphis, Tenn. and a daughter of West Van Lear, Ky. and three grandchildren. Three brothers also survive.

He served in WWII.He retired from C&O Rail RoadHe was kind, gentle, loving husband/father/ and friend. He lived a christian life and was a member of the Church of Christ.
