Mrs Shue Dies Native of Parish

PARISH—Mrs. Ethel Shue, 53, of Franklin St. Lyon Falls, a member of the West Turin Town Board of Assessors and former town clerk, died Saturday in St. Mary's Hospital, Rochester.

She was born in Parish and attended schools in Mexico. Her husband, Ronald Shue,died four years ago. Mrs. Shue was a resident of Lyons Falls since 1927, was a member of St. John's Church and its Altar-Rosary Society, a past president of the American Legion Auxiliary.

She leaves a son,Stanley Shue of Lyons Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Elizabeth Thorpe of Rochester; her mother Mrs. Charles Barnes of Mexico; five sisters, Mrs. Raymond (Mae) Biggs of Mexico; Mrs. Wesley (Edith) Wilton of Lacona; Mrs. Velma Greenwood of Pulaski; Mrs. Carl (Alberta) Snyder of Vestal and Mrs. Rex (Marie) McNitt of Lacona; a brother, Robert Barns of Mexico.

The funeral will be at 11:30 tomorrow from her home and st 11 from St. John's Church Lyons Falls, with the Rev A R Isele officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery Port Leyden. The American Legion Auxiliary conducted rites in her home at 4 today The rosary will be recited at 8 tonight. Calling hours are at convenience of callers.
