Mrs Betty Cook, aged 76, wife of James Cook, died at the residence in Comer Friday morning at 5:30 o'clock after an extended illness.
The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the Baptist church at Comer, conducted by Rev R J Tyler. Interment will be in the Comer cemetery.
Mrs Cook, who was a native of Madison county, had lived in Comer for sixteen years. She was a member of the Baptist church and had always taken great interest in church activities.
Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter and five sons.
