Services for Steve Nagy, 83, of Painesville, a former owner/operator, will be 8 p.m. Monday at Spear-Mulqueeny Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville.

Mr. Nagy died Jan. 4, 2001, at Lake Med Nursing Home in Painesville.

Born Jan. 20, 1917, in Cleveland, he was a lifelong Lake County resident.

Mr. Nagy owned and operated Nagy Service Company from 1947 to 1981.

Survivors are his wife, Mary (Toczik) Nagy, whom he married Dec. 12, 1987; sons, David (Ginger) Nagy of Chardon and Robert Harmon of Madison; daughter, Barbara (Robert) Gillispie of Charleston, W.Va.; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and sister, Margaret Macur of Painesville

His first wife, Katherine (Yelenic) died in 1986. His son, Terry Nagy; and brother, John Nagy, are also deceased.

Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

The family suggests contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5786 Heisley Road, Mentor 44060.
