Born in 1846, "Miss Jennie Lard, daughter of Moses E. Lard, of Kentucky, one of the most distinguished ministers of the Christian Church in the United States"

On December 27, 1866 she married Silas Woodson, Governor of Missouri from 1872-1874 in Lexington KY. She was the 3rd w/o Silas. Mother of Mary Alice 9-14-1870, Silas Salmon 6-18-1875, Virginia Lard 6-18-1875. Her husband, Gov. Silas Woodson offered a $2000 reward for the capture of Jesse James and his gang.
