Don lived in the Carthage area his entire life. He was in the Army, and worked for Carthage Water & Electric for many years. He actually put the Star up on top of the JasCo courthouse, on the Carthage Square.
He was the father of Carol, Rick, Ellen, Scott and Craig; step-father of Bob, Raymond, Monty, Ginger and Mark. He was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, friend and husband. All who knew Don would tell you that he was a loyal and caring friend, and a man who helped many without being asked or expecting a reward. Don was one of a kind and will be greatly, and forever missed.
