Mrs. Edith Allen
Funeral services were held Sunday October 14th, for Mrs. Edith Allen 82, of the Ebernezer community in the church there with interment in the Allen Family cemetery. The services were conducted by the Rev. Ware of the Bassfield Methodist church, assisted by the pastor of the New Hebron Methodist church.
The deceased is survived by three daughters, Mrs. A.C. Bufkin, Mrs. W.I. Sinclair and Mrs. C.B. Burkett, all of Bassfield, and two sons, Magner Allen of New Hebron and Ford Allen of Port Arthur, Texas.
