Pious S. Carrico, a retired fireman for the Francis Building, died at 9:30 a.m. Thursday at his home, 925 Dixie Highway. Carrico, 80, retired in 1950. He was a member of the St. Peter Catholic Church. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Earl LaFollette; three sons, Frank, Leo and Thomas Carrico; a sister, Mrs. Pruddy Mudd, Frederickstown, Ky; three brothers, Clarence, Arnold, and William Carrico; 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. The body is at Ratterman's, 2114 W. Market. The funeral will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at St. Peter Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery.
