Virgil "Dino" Ranum, 45
East Grand Forks - Virgil "Dino" Ranum, 45, a former resident of Thief River Falls, died April 16 at the United hospital in Grand Forks, ND.
Funeral services will be held April 20 at 10 a.m. at the Green Funeral chapel with Re. D. Josh Nelson officiating. Special music will be provided by Grace Hammer. Casket bearers will be Richard Abrahamson, Gary Anenson, Larry Anenson, Terry Anenson, Vernon Anenson an Jerry Hanson. Interment was in the Bethlehem cemetery, Agder township, Marshall county. The Green Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 1 to 9 p.m. at the Green Funeral Home with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service and on Friday until the time of the service.
Virgil Burnell Ranum was born Feb. 14, 1945 in Thief River Falls, the son of Stanley and Violet (Senum) Ranum. He grew up and attended school in Warren. He served with the U.S. Army in Korea for two years, then worked on construction projection in the Thief Rier Falls area.
He is survived by is parents; one brother, Roger Ranum of East Grand Forks; and three sisters: Mrs. Robert (Jane) Anenson of Mounds View, Mrs. Harry (Sandy) Anenson of St. Hilaire and Mrs. Robert (Susan) Brekke of Cavalier, ND.
