Age 57; Daughter of Abraham (Abe) and Martha Jane Watt Brown; Her family moved to Lincoln County, OK when Mary was three years old. They settled on a farm a mile east of Warwick, OK. On Jan. 7, 1910 she married Fred Augustus Hoepken; They had eight children, six sons and two daughters. Survivors include her husband Fred Hoepken; six sons, Willie, Jessie, Fred Jr. of Oklahoma City, OK, Carl of Wellston, OK; and Paul and Albert of the home; two daughters, Juanita Evans of Wellston and Louise Hoepken of the home; four brothers, Henry and Tom Brown, Tulaire, CA, Fred Brown, Wellson, OK and Harry Brown, Warwick, OK; five sisters, Rena Belle Christy, Burbank, CA, Ellen Inskeep, Wellston, OK, Stella Hohlbough, Tulaire, CA, Cora Deweese, Kendrick, and Dora Campbell, Wellston, OK. (Mary has been credited with changing the spelling of the family name from Hoepken to Hopkins);
